Professor Chen Chien-Jen and Professor Tsai Ming-Cheng Received the Great Honor of the Scientific Profession Award Granted by National Science Council

Ever since 2007, National Science Council has been awarding the great honor of Scientific Profession Award to those who have achieved extraordinary contribution on the scientific research and promotion in Taiwan in order to encourage and to inspire more scholars and elites in this field to dedicate to this research area in a hope for improving the technology development in Taiwan. The scientific profession award of National Science Council goes to Professor Chen Chien-Jen of Academia Sinica and NTU Graduate Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine and Professor Tsai Ming-Cheng of NTU Law School.

Professor Chen Chien-Jen of NTU Graduate Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine also serves as the vice president of Academia Sinica currently. He had working experiences in the National Science Council as well and had successfully promoted lots of enforcement programs, including all kinds of national scientific projects. Moreover, he had also constituted many regulations for scientific projects and improved the development of scientific industries, making knowledge economy a new way out and connecting to the international exchanges and corporations. Professor Chen truly received this great award with his extraordinary contribution and achievement. As for Professor Tsai Ming-Cheng of NTU Law School, he’s been devoting himself to the areas of scientific law and promoting the constitution and regulation of academic ethnics over the years. He received this award by promoting and protecting the patents in Taiwan with his great work in educational institutes.

Chinese version
