Sports Field and Outdoor Sports Venues for Individual Use Now Open.
Following the announcement by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC regarding partial lifting of restrictions starting July 13, the Athletic Department is opening up the Sports Field and outdoor sports venues for individual use (e.g. tennis wall and single basketball hoop) to all members of the NTU community. Please wear a mask at all times when you play sports. Clustering in these locations is strictly forbidden. Indoor sports venues will remain closed. For more information, please contact the Athletic Department or refer to terms of use at every venue.
Also, in response to the nationwide extension of Level Three Pandemic Alert until July 26, the University will continue to implement the following measures:
- Access to the Main Campus is limited to the Main Entrance, Changxing St. Entrance, and Xinhai Rd. Entrance.
- On-campus food locations provide take-outs only; off-campus restaurants will follow the announcements by the Taipei City Government.
- NTU Library is temporarily closed; circulation service is still available.
- The ongoing work from home policy will continue. Academic/administrative units should consider the nature of work and make proper arrangements for administrative staff to work from home or in the office.
The ongoing measures that are not adjusted should continue. They are however subject to adjustment at any time according to CECC’s announcements.
