Congrats! Six NTU Faculty Members Recognized as Highly Cited Researchers in 2021.
On November 17, a professional global insights and analytics provider, Clarivate, announced a list of Highly Cited Researchers in 2021. This year NTU's performance was outstanding. With a total of six faculty members selected, the number has doubled compared to last year.
The names of the selected faculty members and their field of study are presented as follows (in an order of strokes of their Chinese name, from least to most): Chia-Wen Wu吳嘉文(cross-field); Duu-Jong Le李篤中 (cross-field); Chih-Hsin Yang楊志新(Clinical Medicine); Ann-Lii Cheng鄭安理(cross-field); Ru-Shi Liu 劉如熹(cross-field); Po-Ren Hsueh 薛博仁(Pharmacology/Toxicology).
In the past eleven years (during 2010 and 2020), the recipients have published multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field in the Web of Science. The analysis for highly-cited researchers is limited to items indexed as articles and reviews only.
The list of Highly Cited Researchers in 2021 has shown the great research influence of these faculty members. All NTU faculty and students not only feel the pride and joy vicariously, but also appreciate their effort contribution to pursuing excellence in research.
