The First Taiwan International Students Soccer Festival took place on May 5^th, and 6^th at National Taiwan University’s football field. This was the first intercollegiate soccer match for international students studying in Taiwan, and the participating universities included Chinese Cultural University, Fu-jen Catholic University, Ming-chuan University, National Chengchi University, National Taiwan Technological University, National Taipei Technological University, Soochow University, etc., most of which are from the Northern part of Taiwan. And the players are international students from Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Australia, representing 25 countries. Not only was this a very fierce sports meet, it was also a unique occasion for cultural exchange between international students and Taiwanese students. The opening ceremony was interlaced with fun games, followed by international friendship games
