NTU's College of Management Signed Memorandum of Agreement with UC Berkeley's Haas Business School

NTU's College of Management signed a Memorandum of Agreement with UC Berkey's Haas School of Business on February 18th. Both sides agreed to commence exchange of teachers as well as two-way interaction between Taiwanese and American high echelon business leaders.

Dr. Mao-Wei Hung, Dean of the College of Management says that over the past two years NTU's College of Management has been actively expanding its international affairs. At present there are more than fifty foreign universities with cooperative relationship with the College, and last year there were 112 exchange students. According to Dr. Hung, the quota of exchange students will increase this year, and he expects that 20% of the undergraduate students and graduates students within the College will be able to study abroad for at least a semester before their graduation so as to enhance their cultural experience. Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Seng Cho T. Chou says that the College will explore ways to study the characteristics of Taiwanese industry and set up courses that are suitable for Berkeley students.

In the near future, the College will further discuss exchange student programs with UC Berkeley, says the Vice Dean.
