The Computer and Information Networking Center(Ｃ＆INC) of NTU won the 2008 "Best TANET Service Award" from the Ministry of Education recently. By winning this Award, the Center's achievements in promoting campus networking and telecommunication services and in handling the related affairs of TANET in the Greater Taipei Area received tremendous and well-deserved commendation. C&INC spares no effort in serving the information needs of the NTU community. Its other achievement include: assisting NTU and other connecting schools to obtain ISMS Information Security Certificate; launching a mechanism for the control of improper information; developing a management system for network IP violations, thus enhancing the efficiency of management; effectively managing the network traffic, and sharing this technology with affiliated schools; providing virus-detection services to interconnecting units and agencies to keep the viruses from spreading; providing affiliated schools consulting and maintenance services; developing NTU campus wireless network navigation system, thus greatly improving the convenience of internet service for university guests. In the future C&INC will continue to provide stable and innovative information services to NTU faculty/students and affiliated schools to uphold its philosophy of "cordiality, speediness, technology, and satisfaction."
