NTU Marches into the Top 100, Ranks the 49th in the World in Engineering and IT in Recent Survey

The US News and World Report released its 2008 ranking of world universities on July 2nd. In the category of engineering and IT, National Taiwan University was ranked the 49th in the world. NTU was the only university from Taiwan to march into the top 100. NTU was ranked among the top 100 in other categories which include: Natural Sciences ranked the 50th, Social Sciences ranked the 74th, and Life Sciences & Biomedicine ranked the 84th.
