Our building houses a small but wonderful performance hall, the Odeum, which is the ideal place for NTU students’ artistic and cultural activities. Our center oversees a wide variety of events, from music, drama, dance, film, to visual arts. These events can be carried out either in the form of dynamic performances, or static exhibitions; they can be held either indoors, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities of the university, or in the open outdoors; their performers may include both professionals and NTU students. These events are held throughout the academic semester - smaller programs are typically held during the day on weekdays; larger, longer performances or lectures held in the evenings, and the most spectacular ones incorporated into special occasions such as the School Anniversary or the Azalea Festival. In addition, there are also "Master Lectures," giving students a chance to meet the maestros, and "Workshops," providing longer, more in-depth programs, as well as occasionally inviting artists to different courses or events so that students may have a deeper understanding of art. We look forward to your attendance in our events, and we also encourage all students to dream, to innovate, to propose and plan their own events, or to work with us on our events. Last but not least, for students who enjoy literary writing, our center also organizes the "NTU Literature Award."
